![]() Make sure your rocket has a fair amount of RCS fuel onboard the craft. You can turn the trusters on by clicking R. At about 30.000 meters, us RCS (Reaction Control Surfaces) Make sure you have the little RSC thrusters all over your craft. On March 28th, 2019, the Enhanced Edition was updated to KSP 1.5, Dressed for Success, and added the 'History and Parts Pack', a console version of Making History. On the lower stages of your rocket, us control surfaces like fins and elevators flaps. People who have bought the original version will get the new one for free. The game will appear on the Xbox and PS4 stores as a separate game.Because of this, no older save data will be able to be brought over to the new version. The new port is being built from scratch, none of the elements or code from the previous version will be used. The Enhanced Edition is being ported over by Blitworks, as Fly Tiger Entertainment, the original company responsible for porting game, dropped the ball for unknown reasons. ![]() ![]() The new port will be realized released on Januand be equivalent to KSP 1.22. In December 2017, it was announced that a new port of KSP would released on the consoles and be called "KSP Enhanced Edition". KSP on the consoles is slightly more buggy than the PC version, sometimes whole world files can be corrupted and deleted.Similarly to the absence of mods, there are no downloadable craft files or world files in the console versions. There are no mods in the console versions, but this is the same with many other games on the consoles that were ported over from PC.Sometimes the control locks up due to glitches (especially if you have mods), try reload the save. Make sure your probe is not in 'hibernation' (right click on the probe module to check). The maximum part count in the VAB and SPH was 300 parts, probably because any craft that has more than 300 parts would cause intolerable lag on the consoles. Depends on difficulty setting, you might need a relay network if you are too far from Kerbin or if the Kerbal Space Centre is not directly facing you. Both console versions were equivalent to KSP version 1.1 on the PC.This maybe because the Wii U is now obsolete because of the new Nintendo Switch, but nothing has been said about KSP being ported over to the Switch.īoth the Xbox and PS4 versions of KSP had some limitations: There was going to be a Wii U version of KSP, but in January 2017 Squad announced that it won't be released for unknown reasons. Three days later, on July 15, KSP was released on the Xbox One as well. This is really getting frustrating.Įdit: this is in KSP 1.7.1, on macos 10.14.5, on a 2015-era 15" MacBook Pro with retina display.KSP was released for Playstation 4 on July 12, 2016. If/when it happens again I'll try to post more information to help diagnose. The electricity resource is not pictured (because the UI at this point was unresponsive) but the probe had plenty of electricity. You can see that the probe has a network connection and ought to be controllable. You can see the tabs in the lower left are darkened. I was in the middle of maneuvering the rocket, pressing the usual keys (WASD, shift, control, arrow keys), but I don't recall if there was a particular combination of keys that caused it. I've attached a screenshot from the latest incident. The game continues to play - engines continue to burn, craft continue on their preexisting trajectories, etc. The other tabs for the flight modes (the ones that let you switch between staging view, orbital info, view, etc.) are darkened and disabled clicking them has no effect. Other keys have no effect (including escape, z, x, shift, control, wasd, t, etc.). The F* keys works as usual (I can hide UI, show mission stats, etc). That could be a red herring, though, since I have that mode open far more often than the others. I've only noticed it happening when I have the orbital info active. The only way out is to "cmd-Q" and restart the game. I haven't yet figured out how to reliably duplicate it, but it happens often enough to be frustrating.
